Auto Shanghai is an automobile and manufacturing technology exhibition and one of the earliest professional international auto shows in China. It is a recognized gathering of international automotive experts and brings great attention, support and participation of automotive industries from home and abroad. International exhibitors at Auto Shanghai have the option of taking part in a joint presentation with other companies from their own countries in international pavilions. The exhibition is rounded off by various conferences, seminars and technical symposia.
 
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 9 days of the fair, from 21. April to 29. April 2013, about 2000 exhibitors from 18 countries and 813000 visitors on the Auto in Shanghai.
